Time Magazine’s annual list of the 100 most influential companies in the world is out and a few travel companies are on it. Unfortunately no hotel companies made the cut, but a few industry leaders did make the list which comprises five categories: Leaders, Disrupters, Innovators, Titans, and Pioneers who are evaluated based on key factors including impact, innovation, ambition and success. Electric Flying Taxis Are Taking Off In Paris
Olympic games are always exciting for a city, but they can negatively impact traffic in big cities. As Paris is hosting the Summer Olympics in 2024, the city already has plans for a small fleet of electric flying taxis to operate on multiple routes during the Games next summer. NetFlix Steps Beyond The Screen
In the ultimate example of life imitating art, NetFlix is opening a restaurant in Los Angeles later this week. NetFlix Bites will be located at Short Stories Hotel near the Grove and is a restaurant pop-up featuring food and drink from many popular chefs and mixologists from some of Netflix's biggest shows. High-Risk Travel Is Booming
Last week, everyone was glued to the news to learn the fate of the submersible plunging to the depths of the ocean to explore the wreck of the Titanic.
