Hilton’s annual trends report for 2025 notes “travel maximizers” will be the year’s leading trend. Exactly what is this? It’s a vacation style in which hotel guests will seek “high-impact” experiences to make the most of the time and money they’re spending. Welcome To The Age Of Tattourism
There were rumors Prince Harry visited a tattoo parlor on his recent visit to New York City and they fall in line with one of the latest travel trends: tattourism. More than 40% of travelers between the ages of 18 to 35 admit to getting a tattoo while traveling. Luxury hotels have added roving tattoo artists to their amenity list. The W Hotel group has brought over tattoo artists to their hotel in order to offer guests direct access to highly-rated tatt artists who garner long waitlists with a Tequila cocktail in hand as they get inked up. Amex Announces Top Destinations For 2025
American Express just released its annual list of trending destinations based on data from card member reservations and year-over-year increases. In the U.S., there’s a clear focus on travelers wanting to visit the great outdoors: Moab, Utah and Sun Valley, Idaho are seeing growth in bookings. Brisbane, Australia; Brittany, France; Franschhoek, South Africa; Koh Samui, Thailand; and Macau, China round out the top five. Read more in Travel + Leisure here.
Meetings And Events Bars Are Going Zero Proof
An estimated 38% of American adults do not drink alcohol according to a recent Gallup poll. Experts are saying offering soda and juice at meetings and events bars are no longer good enough. Too Good Not To Share
We have all had our share of airport delays — incoming flights not arriving for hours, mechanical problems, or being stuck on the tarmac with bad weather, etc., with airlines rarely doing anything about it. Here’s a cool story where a pilot ordered in pizzas for everyone on board after a flight had to be diverted due to a passenger medical emergency, the crew had timed out, and all of the airport restaurants were already closed, so the standard airline vouchers would have been useless.
