A Keurig-Style Machine For Cocktails?
Maybe this will be the answer for hotels dealing with labor shortages — a new Keurig-style machine with pods that can dispense cocktails! This new machine uses cocktail capsules containing real juices, bitters and extracts to mix with spirits that are in reservoirs connected to the machine. The Pent-Up Demand For Leisure Travel May Be Waning
Summer is going to be great for leisure travel, but we may already be seeing some cracks in the shiny new varnish of the travel recovery. While consumers are planning trips at a rapid clip, once they've crossed a big vacation or two off their bucket lists, bookings could quickly return to a more measured pace. And if we are being realists, the high levels of household savings achieved during the pandemic won't last forever. Just when you think you've seen it all, here's a new restaurant opening: a cereal bar! The Cereal Spot in Buffalo, NY invites guests to be their own "cereal chef" with around 200 different flavors of breakfast favorites. The Hotels Of The Future Have Arrived
So what does the hotel of the future look like? Five futuristic hotels think they have an idea. There are two properties in Japan which are entirely run by robots. A hotel in Las Vegas offers resident robotic puppies (their licks are less bacteria-ridden). A property in Zurich features Space Suites, which will deliver a live feed directly to NASA TV so you can see space 24/7.
